Apprenticeships last between 12 months and 4 years, depending on the level, covering qualifications from Level 2 (GCSE equivalent) to Level 7 (master’s degree level). This flexibility allows you to find the right fit for your company’s specific needs, from entry-level to advanced roles.
An apprentice spends 80% of their time working on the job, gaining valuable, hands-on experience, and 20% in dedicated learning environments, such as classroom sessions or training courses. Apprentices earn at least the National Minimum Wage—though many employers pay more—and training costs are fully covered by the employer or government, meaning apprentices pay nothing out of pocket.
